Deep Tissue techniques are often an essential part of the manual treatments used by both massage therapists and physiotherapists. This course provides insight into these methods. Physiotherapist Michael Steven Eder, with 20 years of experience working with clients, will share his extensive knowledge and techniques. Throughout the course, you will learn how to create lasting changes in muscle tissue by working specifically with the deeper layers of muscles and fascia.

Theoretical and Practical Training:

• Introduction to Deep Tissue massage and the relevant techniques
• Learn to work with deep pressure and slow strokes to release muscle tension
• Techniques for treating chronic muscle tension, adhesions in muscles, tendons, and ligaments
• Focus on relaxing the muscles so deeper layers can be reached
• Integration of the client’s breathing in the treatment to achieve optimal results

Deep Tissue massage is effective in breaking down adhesions and improving circulation, which helps relieve pain and restore movement. This course will provide you with practical skills that can be directly applied to the treatment of clients with chronic tension or muscle injuries.
